TIS THE SEASON TO EAT

TIS’ THE SEASON TO EAT!

ISSUE 3 | CHRISTMAS

Christmas is every food-lovers dream. Long lazy days where our main priority is food‚ what we are going to eat, how it will be prepared, when and where the next meal is taking place‚ it’s all about the food!

DO THE HONOURS

Even the most disorganised amongst us spend time preparing in advance for our Christmas feasts. We plan our menus, purchase food and drink days before. Time and care is spent on how the table will be presented. And cooking often becomes a real family affair.

What a marvellous time of the year! But it needn’t be complicated.

Focus on the food and keep it simple. White china plates, wine glasses, some pretty cutlery and napkins are all that is needed.

Add to this some sweet name tags – we chose these amazing origami Christmas balls with handwritten tags, which also doubled as a little take-home gift for our guests.

But best of all, keeping the table clear of vases and other decorations allowed room for the food to be laid out in easy reach‚ no need to get up for seconds!

Often just one large statement piece is all that is necessary to create a beautiful festive vibe –
in this instance a large handmade wreath decorated with gum leaves. Not only did it look beautiful, it also released the most gorgeous scent into the air.
