Making your own pasta at home is super easy and you’ll soon discover that it’s well worth the effort. Homemade pasta tastes sooo much better than store bought varieties!

To make fettuccini:

Step 1: Take two 3/4 cups of OO flour, make a well in the centre, crack 3 eggs into the well and add a pinch of salt.

Step 2: Combine.

Step 3: Knead together for 5-10 mins. Roll into a round ball.

Step 4: With a knife cut dough into quarters. Take one of the quarters and flatten slightly with a rolling pin.

Step 5: Pass the dough through the pasta maker at setting #1.

Step 6: Continue to pass the pasta through the pasta maker at setting #3 and finally #6.

Step 7: Place on a cutting board and cut to the desired width with a knife or use your pasta makers cutting setting (we think hand-cut pasta looks much better!).

Step 8: Bellissimo!

Step 9: There are so many different types of pasta that you can make – get adventurous and create different shapes or even create fillings for ravioli or tortellini.
