We first stumbled across Bianca’s blog about 9 months ago and it quickly became one of our favourite go-to sites for not only healthy and delicious recipes, but super quick and easy ones (the best kind!). Many of Bianca’s recipes are incredibly simple and use very few ingredients – it’s hard to believe they can be so tasty. We can highly recommend her Chewy Chocolate Cookies – made with just 3 ingredients in about 5 minutes, healthy and sooo good! Yes, you read right. Chocolate cookies that are healthy. You’re going to want to bookmark this page.

Her blog is all about making things a little easier for those of us embarking on the real foods path and helping the increasing number of families living with intolerances and allergies. But more than that, her recipes are proof that healthy doesn’t have to mean boring sweets that taste like cardboard. Score.

IT FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS WHEN…

I see delicious cherries at my local store and my daughter starts singing Christmas Carols each afternoon.

A CHRISTMAS TRADITION FOR ME IS…

Not sleeping on Christmas Eve! To this day I still fill with excitement and barely get a seconds sleep on Christmas Eve. I have given up hope of growing out of this one.

IT WOULDN’T BE CHRISTMAS WITHOUT…

My husband and kids. The look on the children’s faces and the joy in their voice is certainly the highlight of the day. However, my husband brings it all together, and every Christmas, despite where we are, despite what is going on in our lives, he ensures we all have a great day.

ONE OF MY BEST CHRISTMAS MEMORIES IS…

Each of my childhood Christmas’ started with us waking ridiculously early, indulging in the excitement of Santa and then running across the road to my Grandama’s house. We would then head down the street to my Gran’s house, before meeting the extended family next door at my Great Gran’s house for a perfect, traditional Christmas lunch. Looking back I realise how exceptionally fortunate I was to be surrounded by so much love! My kids have been raised away from their Grandparents and it has highlighted to me just how valuable those Christmas mornings were. I took them for granted at the time, I knew no different, but today I am incredibly grateful that my Grandparents played a significant role in my childhood, and I think of them every Christmas.

ON CHRISTMAS EVE I’LL BE…

Madly wrapping gifts and reminiscing about the year that has been as my husband drinks beer and attempts to assemble toys. We will laugh, there will be Christmas Carols. This part is almost as fun as the day itself.

ON MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING LIST…

My list is filled with the type of gifts that make me feel ancient; things that certainly were not around when I was growing up and that confuse my old school mind.

AND I’D LIKE TO RECEIVE…

A year filled with health and happiness, can you get a voucher for this?
