May we present the beautiful wedding of Brad and Anna. ‘Personal’ is the perfect word to describe their special day. Brad and Anna wanted their wedding to be all about them, their family and their close friends, and the celebration of a very special milestone in their lives.
“I loved that every part of our day had a personal link – Brad’s brother’s band played at the reception, one of my old school friends was our celebrant, Brad’s mum made all of the wedding favours, our photographers are close personal friends… every detail was created by the talented and beautiful people in our lives.” says Anna
“My absolute favourite memory from our wedding was walking into our reception to Mumford and Sons song – “I will wait.” Coming through the front gate and seeing all our family and friends and being showered by rose petals – it was so emotional!”
The personal touches continued in their decor and menu choices. “I spent time living in Japan a few years ago and I love origami, so we used origami cranes and hearts throughout the ceremony and reception. Brad is a keen fisherman so we incorporated elements of this too – we set up a fishing boat photo booth and included seafood on the menu,” says Anna.
Brad and Anna’s ceremony was held by the water on Townsville’s strand, followed by a reception at their own home. “We loved having the reception at our house….the house that Brad also proposed in.” says Anna.
